Little Hands, Big Discoveries

I am offering a few places in my home daycare for September 2014.  I have room for one full-time child and one before and after school child.   I prefer to take children 18 months or older.  My hours for drop off are anytime after 7:30 am and for pick-up are anytime before 5:15 pm.  I walk children to Indian Road Crescent Public School.

I work with the school schedule and do not work on school holidays which includes two weeks at Christmas, March Break and the summer break.

My approach at home is inspired by the Reggio Emilia school of thought. The children and I go out in all kinds of weather and we have outdoor play one to two times per day.  We go to Baird Park, the school playground or in my gated backyard.  I also often attend the Parenting and Family Literacy Centre at Indian Road Crescent School.

I serve healthy snacks and lunch.  I am able to work with vegetarian and gluten-free diets.  Most of the fruits and vegetables I serve are organic.

Children staying with me all day will have their own room for naps.

As I am a teacher I have a current police check.

My rates:
Full Day: $56
Half Day: $35
Before and After School: $25
Before or After School: $15

Our family has a beautiful, friendly golden doodle named Buddy.  He does not shed.
